MBSP55 - Combines the Ezi-action® MBSP and M55 Adaptor Fittings
The Ezi-action® MBSP55 can be used to secure the Ezi-action® Drumpump into either a metal drum with British Standard fine thread (58mm outside diameter of bung) opening or into a plastic drum with 56 x 4 buttress opening.
The 200 litre drums manufactured in New Zealand by Alto have both these thread openings so the Ezi-action® MBSP55 Adaptor Fitting will fit both sides of an Alto drum.
The Ezi-action® MBSP55, like all Ezi-action® M Fittings, is a three-part construction with locking nut, which can easily be loosened by hand and the locking ring which grips the Ezi-action® Drumpump shaft when hand tightened, assures security and leak free operation.
The Ezi-action® Drumpumps are the hand pump of choice around the world when dispensing from bulk containers and the addition of the Ezi-action® MBSP55 Adaptor Fitting is a welcome solution to the problem of different thread openings on drums.
The combination of two threads on one fitting simplifies the transfer of the Ezi-action® Drumpump between different drums.
The Ezi-action® M Fittings required in New Zealand and Australia are MBSP55, M63 and M69. The thread requirement can vary with the country of origin of the drum.

ADAPTOR FITTING GUIDE
1. How to Determine the Ezi-action® Adaptor Fitting for a Drum with internal threaded opening.
a. Measure across the opening internal thread width.
b. Measure the width of the bung.

Both these drums require an Ezi-action® M55 fitting.
2. How to Determine the Ezi-action® Adaptor Fitting for a Container with external threaded opening.
a. Measure across the opening outside thread width.
b. Examine the thread pitch.

3. How to Determine the Ezi-action® Adaptor Fitting for an IBC
Note: The IBC needs a small inner cap within a large cap. ( see photo)
a. Remove the small inner cap.
b. Measure the internal opening and examine the thread.
If the opening has width of 58mm with a fine thread the IBC requires an Ezi-action® MBSP Adaptor Fitting.
If the opening has width of 55mm with a medium thread the IBC requires an Ezi-action® M55 Adaptor Fitting.
The most commonly required fittings for IBC's are the Ezi-action® MBSP and M55 adaptor fitting.
