Buyer’s Guide to Choosing Traditional Moss & Mould Kill Products

Traditional moss and mould treatments are designed for exterior cleaning and maintenance where moss, mould and similar organic growth can build up on suitable surfaces. Insinc’s range includes moss killers, moss and mould removers, and commercial bleach products from Green Kiwi Clean, Qualchem and Matthews.

Available sizes include 5L and 20L options for both routine property maintenance and larger commercial cleaning requirements.

Moss Killer or Moss & Mould Remover?

For targeted moss and mould treatment, Green Kiwi Clean Mossinator is available in both 5L and 20L sizes. Qualchem Moss Kill provides another 20L option for larger areas, while Matthews offers a 5L Moss & Mould Remover refill bottle.

Choose the product according to the type of growth being treated, the surface involved and the size of the area requiring treatment.

What About Commercial Bleach?

The range also includes Matthews Thickened Commercial Bleach 5%, which is a different product type from dedicated moss and mould treatments. Bleach products and specialist moss killers should not automatically be treated as interchangeable.

Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions for dilution, application, contact time and rinsing. Check surface compatibility before use, particularly on painted, coated, metal, timber or other sensitive materials, and take care around surrounding vegetation where applicable.
